Hola, in Te Ngahere a man named Neal came and taught us some tips on how to play cricket. We learnt the stance we had to stand in and we also learnt the proper technique on how to hold a cricket bat properly which is making a “V” shape with your thumb and index finger, then grip the bat with the “V” shape. We had to get into pairs and just practice hitting the balls, one person would hit the balls then the other person would retrieve them, then we would rotate. After we practiced for a little bit we played a game of speed cricket. It was a really enjoyable and fun experience. Have you played cricket before?
