Do You Know What A Pick A Path Is?

Kia ora, in Te Ngahere we have been learning to write a pick a path. A pick a path is a story where the reader gets to choose what the character in the story does. You are given choices to choose which way the character goes, or what the character does.  My story is about fleeing North Korea and how it is a very difficult task to do. You have to decide what the character does to escape North Korea. Pick a path is a very fun activity to do. I think I have done well so far I can’t wait to finish my story.  Have you ever made a pick a path before?

Awesome Maths

In Te Ngahere I have been learning to combine like terms with negative coefficients and distributions. It is a very easy and fun math activity to  do if you know how. I learnt how by using this awesome website called Khan Academy. It is a very useful and fun website I highly recommend it. If you want to know how to combine like terms with negative coefficients and distributions, look below.

First you multiply the numbers

in the brackets by 8 so it would be

8 x -5r= -40r then you multiply -2 by 8 so it

Would be -16 then you add -r which makes

-41r - 16. Thank you for reading my post.

Universal Ball

In Te Ngahere we have been doing P.E, we played universal ball. Universal Ball is a very fun game, this is how you play  universal ball. You have two teams lined up on the boundaries of the court then the two teams run all to the end of the court then back to the center. The teacher will throw in a ball and say what sport it is and then the students will have to play that sport. You keep playing until one team scores. The team with the most points at the end wins. If you haven’t played universal ball I highly recommend it, because itis a very fun and enjoyable game. Have you ever played universal ball before? Thank you for reading my post.

Wonder Project

Kia ora, in Te Ngahere we have been doing the Wonder Project. The Wonder Project is a project where we have to learn about different careers that you need to make a rocket fly. My careers that I chose were a geographer and a test pilot. Then you needed to write what you do in those careers. A geographer is a person who uses maps and satellites to locate places and inhabitants on Earth. A test pilot test new aircrafts to see if they are safe for the people who are going to use them. I think I could have done better at explaining what the people in the careers I chose actually do. Do you know any other careers that people need to work a rocket?
