In Te Ngahere we have been learning identify math all around us. We had to
look at some ginger bread cookies and see what we noticed. We also had to
answer some question i.e are gingerbread cookies popular? what do you
notice? For the first question we surveyed 20 people and we got a 16:4
(16 people liked gingerbread cookies and 4 didn’t). In the second question
we noticed that there were different color buttons on them, they all had two
buttons each and they all had 4 limbs each. I think I did well at noticing all the
different parts of the gingerbread cookies. I think i could do better at finding
easier strategies to help me notice different part on the gingerbread cookie.
